9:111 Lo! Allah hath bought from the believers their lives and their wealth because the Garden will be theirs: they shall fight in the way of Allah and shall slay and be slain. It is a promise which is binding on Him in the Torah and the Gospel and the Qur'an. Who fulfilleth His covenant better than Allah ? Rejoice then in your bargain that ye have made, for that is the supreme triumph.
After reading the passage, I begin to wonder about the timing of the terrorist attack on Sept. 11, 2001. Is it possible that this passage from the Q'uran was the inspiration for the date of the attack?
09/11/01, with the 0's removed is 9111, or 9:111, a scriptural date on which ''they shall fight in the way of Allah and shall slay and be slain'' in order to go to Heaven (The Garden) by starting a holy war to fulfill a bargain with Allah. You know, by killing infidels and such.
