It is difficult to categorize the bombings and killings in Iraq as a civil war. Whose going to be brave enough to walk up to these people and ask them? Can we expect honest answers?
Iraq is accustomed to this. Control and order is unknown to them. Leadership is taken by force and submission is expected by threats.
The presence of the U.S. in Iraq is not wanted, nor is our agenda clear. We were fighting terrorists - and there are terrorists all over the world, not just in Iraq.

the only one who does not believe that, is george bush, he'll only believe it when god tells him so
for a long time it has been. I dont think a democracy is going to work in Iraq because the only way to keep them from fighting was to control them severly.
That certainly is a civil war despite what our President says and we are probably never going to have a victory over there since those factions have been killing each other for thousands of years.
